Real Estate News for Scottsdale and Surrounding Area

Riviera Pools, the Pool Builder advertised as the pool builder of the Arizona Diamondbacks has officially filed bankruptcy leaving over 100 employees unemployed.  Even worse, many customers with half built pools are finding that their phone calls are not being answered and they are left to wonder if they will ever get their pools finished or get their money back.

The number of pool permits has drastically fallen as the housing boom has cooled and as the credit crisis effects the ability of some to obtain credit to build a pool.  For instance, in 2005, there were 23,749 pool permits pulled in Maricopa County.  Compare that to the 5,401 pulled thus far in 2008 and one can easily see the effects of today’s economy.

Pool vendors will not be the only vendors to close up shop.  Home buyers need to be very careful when selecting landscaping, shutter and flooring companies as well.

At Luxe Real Estate, we do not simply find buyers a home, we have preferred vendors with unrivaled and stable reputations in the Valley.  Luxe prides itself on making sure that its customers have very little concerns when buying a home.  It has never been more important to hire the right agent when dealing with your home.
